Basketball!
american football...
Bitaw sis, I haven't seen your name here. You used to post for the SMB thread. Na push down na ang SMB thread? I don't follow the PBA, last time I saw the full season mga 1996 pa. So I'm not sure if mga SMB fans are cheering a particular player na na trade.
Try watching the NBA!! Can't remember if nakita na nako imo name sa NBA thread, so I'm not sure if you follow the games..Hapit na bitaw ang FIBA Euro, tambay na pud diri, I know mo cheer ka sa Spain.
Yes, football is definitely not boring. been watching it since 1998 pa, Arsenal man ko. Dili ra kaayo ko mo post sa EPL thread, cause Manu and Chelsea dominated thread, sooo never mind...LOL
both games can co-exist in our country.
the love for basketball is already implanted on our genes, no matter how weak we are playing it, someone still has something to say about the sport, bisag sidelight lang sa main event [like krissy is the xwife of james yap, etc]
and i dont blame our basketball-loving friends here if they find it difficult to understand our game. i understand them. why? basketball's fast paced, high scoring nature is what they are used to. football on the other hand has speed that varies from time to time and the scoring is low. but the effort and the chances in every game would be heartstopping for those that watch. it's like basketball in it's early stages when goaltending was OK.
maglisud gyud ang first time watchers ug understand sa duwa. sometimes [this also applies sa ako.] viewers end up sleeping on a game. but if masabut na ninyu gamay ang game. you'll like watching it. i've converted my father into a football fan.
basketball fan here, but i also like football/soccer. it requires good skills lang and discipline, and special shoes hehe..
Since there's no certainty when the NBA will start its season, I'll have lots of football action to enjoy once the season starts this month.
