Nice to hear them saying "Thank You" to the people who helped them.

They said "thank you" here in Istorya and expect it to reach the guys in the Ateneo community who helped them?

I mentioned I bumped into Mr. Huang. I happened to ask for an email address for a proposal to be sent. He told me he doesn't do email. He doesn't know how to do email, how much more for being on forums? Nangita pagani ko fax machine, para maka-fax ra sa iya.

I'm sure Coach Norman and MVP are members here as well and keep up with this thread as much as I do

How about putting up that same statement (with the "thank you") in the Sunstar. Mr. Tallo had access to the Sunstar when he wrote his article? Using the same source should be easy enough.

Pwede sad dali ra kaayo manawag sa celphone. I would think even though Mr. Huang is computer illiterate he should be able to read text messages. Mr. Tallo had that opportunity to do it face to face like a man when he finally showed up at the bball games he and Mr. Huang play in.

If Mr. Tallo does not wish to and Mrs. Tallo does I'm sure she can get in touch with these people who helped her son on her own.


Just to add. They mentioned Ravena being trained as a PG. I have yet to see him play that position the entire 5 UAAP games of ADMU. It has always been Monfort and Tiongson, even Cipriano got PT at PG. Kirk long has gotten the other spot minutes.

at least they appreciate the efforts of ADMU Community of helping MacMac. I myself don't like what the Tallo's did about bolting out ADMU just because MacMac isn't playing in the pre season...

KR earned it kung ano man sya ngayon.... since Grade 5, He brought glory to ADMU Basketball program... Sana before they complain, REALITY CHECK muna sila before they question the moves of ADMU MBT for KR...

I will not give favor of macmac, norman black, ateneo or other people involve. i will base on the issue. as a player, regarding of macmac's situation there are issues na gi general lang pagkasulti ni Mr.Tallo mao nang wala kaayo mo nakasabot. maong na complicated na niabot sa situation nga ni AWOL matod pa nimu bobo2. b4 ta moabot ana nga situation we will start with the father saying na walay apil sa rotation si macmac. even the weak team na opponent nila di gyud kasulod si macmac. so what is rotation in basketball? if you are 15 players in the line-up. mao nang naay first five. mao nai una sa rotation, 2nd five and 3rd five dayun so a total of 15 players. in that situation kung wala gani kay apil ana. sa rotation, you cant see your weaknesses, improvements or adjustment to the system so ang mahitabo nimo ana kay mawala gyud imong confidence. now kung naa na sa actual game, your expectation is wala gyud kay apil sa game. mao nai disadvantage na ang player mawala gyud tanan, now talking of MVP as a team manager, normal na mogasto gyud siya kay expenses mana sa team. you cant get a good player if you will not spend. then if player na molakaw lang without reason. normal na, most of the situation is like walay proper gi hatag sa player like foods, puy.anan, promises by the coach, politics, priority, seniority or etc.... now kanang nahitabo ni macmac, dili lang karon ra na nahitabo it so happened lang na si macmac kay naa siyay potential and ateneo pa gyud ang na involve na school. even here in the local school nahitabo na. that is really normal. mao nang makaingon ko, there are problems between Norman Black and Mr.Tallo regarding the situation. so aware na ang team manager or recruiter na it was the coach who made the decision. mao nang kita di ta mosulti ug negative kay ila nang personal, even fanatic ka sa ateneo. i have attended 3 basketball association, usahay mag storya mi regarding ni macmac, makaingon sad sila nga luoy sad ang bata. we cannot compare ravena, macmac, parks. who are the best player, it is the coach who is the best, because he is the one giving players a playing time. if those players are mentioned and not given any playing time, you cannot see their potential and talents. so for stop me, saying bad conclusions about those people and again as i said it is normal, kadaghan na nahitabo even during our days.

look... when macmac leaves ateneo, lets say macmac and Mr.Tallo they have bad attitude. imagine local schools here are offering the service of macmac, like U.C by giving them business offer it was confirmed by the alumni of U.C and also Coach Yayoy. it was told by Rey Potot coaching staff of SWU that Yayoy offer 50k for goodwill money 20K a month and also offered Mr.Tallo as his assistant coach and Rey Potot was a member is a member of our basketball association and also other big school in manila. so we dont know what is inside the minds of the Tallos. on my own opinion the father wants a very good school and play basketball. so bb2 we'll just wait. here in the thread i think Mr.Sam Sia of CEC can tell everything cause i heard lang Mr.Tallo is one of there consultant.

In my own opinion, they dont have a choice but to go w/ La Salle... why? if they will transfer to NU, lahat iisipin lumipat sila because of MONEY and thats not what u want to happen.... 2nd, revenge... everybody knows that the TALLO's are not HAPPY w/ ADMU (based on their letters to the press)... if you want a sweet revenge against ADMU, the best place to go is LaSalle

Like I mentioned all of us have biases whether we see them or not. You see it in Macmac's eyes for his future. I have repeatedly mentioned there are other people who had a stake in this not just Macmac and Mr. Tallo.

There were other people who contributed to Macmac's development. Don't you think they should have been consulted before the AWOL or at least be dignified now with man to man or face to face explanations?

The world did not revolve around Macmac then, it still does not now. every decision everyone makes affects others. Matter of life. It is how you handle those decisions.

you are correct it is normal to spend on recruits. Isn't it also normal for people to try to address issues before they quit? MacMac and Mr. Tallo could have talked to Mr. Huang if they were afraid or thought they couldn't approach Coach Norman. If way mahimo gihapon si Mr. Huang then tell him, or MVP/the team through Mr. Huang na di gyud ma-daa. Macmac needs PT to develop. Ask politely to leave. I have conversed with Mr. Huang a few times and IMHO he is the type of person that would have even helped MacMac find a program. He actually mentioned that scenario when I hinted about MacMac. He said something about having friends in other UAAP programs who can take of Macmac.

Instead they go AWOL, write in the paper lambasting people and even more through a journalist.......then they expect to be greeted and treated like nothing happened?

You can call me bobo2 (quite witty on your part I must say) all you want that still doesn't change facts....MacMac went AWOL leaving people who took care of him in the dust.

BTW if you have been watching the UAAP games even BJ Cipriano (3rd string PG) has been getting play. He did not get any significant minutes in pre-season either.

If we all believed in Macmac's talent, especially the Tallo's themselves, they would know cream always rises to the top. All you need is hard work and a good attitude to go with it. I still believe that Macmac is talented enough to make at least a dent somewhere. Unfortunately like someone mentioned in the CEC transfer and now this. There is a pattern that keeps showing up. Hopefully it does not negatively affect his career. Quitting should not be a normal reaction.


Who knows by playing with ADMU he could have been the next LA Tenorio, maybe with DLSU he could be the next Cool Cat or the next TY Tang.

Again all speculation, like some of my speculations that do indeed need clearing up. I guess my "please" was not good enough to get you to ask the Tallos or the person whom you mentioned (SamSia whom I asked the same questions earlier btw) the questions I needed clarifying.

I hope you ask soon so I can be enlightened and no longer be bobo2 to you.
