there was plenty of action. so I don't get that complaint about not having enough action.

the problem with the movie lay in it being a setup to the Avengers. and this is really the problem with the recent Marvel films(Iron Man 2, Thor and Cap). they're not stand alone films, they're tie-ins/preludes to Avengers.

Iron Man 1 was a great movie and the best out of Marvel Studios(I still like Cap more;Cap fanboy) because it focused strictly on Tony and not setting up future movies like its sequel did.

Nope. That actress was Amanda Righetti. The Black Widow is played by Scarlett Johansson.

I actually thought she was Sharon.

there is a little resemblance.
but Cap would have confused her for Peggy, which he didn't.

saw it today. I like it better than Thor and Iron Man 1 as far as origin movies go(second behind Batman Begins).

Captain America was portrayed well by Evans. damn he did a good job. and they also showed what Cap is about and that's fighting for the little guy not necessarily for the flag(if America becomes a bully, he will fight America).


I'm hoping in the sequel they would stick with Cap in the present era and have him meet Sharon Carter, Dum Dum Dugan(reunited) and fight Baron Zemo. maybe a tease of Winter Soldier and the Red Skull at the end. that would be so awesome.

Well, Bucky was retconned to have survived the events that led to Cap's suspended animation. He was brainwashed by the Soviets and turned into an assassin. However, he was kept in suspended animation in-between missions, so he still retained his youth. Anything is possible, I guess.

Yep I agree. Bucky became the Winter Soldier and was carrying the helm of Captain America for sometime after the suppossed death of Steve Rogers after being assasinated while on the way to his trial for his actions during the Civil War.

Then gipatay ra pud si Bucky ky buhi daw si Steve Rogers and became Captain America napud balik... Heheheh ana jud na ang comics, kung in demand gani, buhion jud balik...

Agree ko si Baron Zemo ug Crossbones nindot e kontra ni Cap sa sequel...

BTW for some reason I think the Red Skull survived his presumed death with the aid of Loki (I think...). With his belief in Magic and the supernatural and him being sorta' vanishing to another dimension hehehe... Mao rna logical explanation cguro ila mahimo nga ng survive si Red Skull in the modern world...
