The peso had a potential to reach around the 48 level early next year, if the BSP won't interfere much.
^ The continuous strength of peso also contributes with the confidence given to us by our foreign investors.
This coupled with higher growth rates and lower inflation, the view towards our economy will be very much optimistic.
PGMA is confident that strength of Peso will continue. After the peso soared to below 50 to the US dollar in recent months, she expected it to rise even more. It closed at P49.840 to the dollar on Tuesday before financial markets closed on Wednesday for the All Saints’ Day holiday.
She even assured the business sectors of some changes in business fee reductions, cheaper power and other breaks to balance the cost of the rapidly rising peso.
These are the signs that Philippines is moving towards economic stability. I am sure business sector will continue to do their tasks to be more competitive as well as the government would also do their part to help uplift the economy.
the philippine peso is going stronger but the commodities is still the same. it is even becoming more expensive. if it is only for now, i hope, the strong peso can be reflected also the prices of our daily commodities.
No need to worry. Market forces will do the trick.Originally Posted by boxingfan529

^Just my two cents worth: There are other factors which contribute with the prices of the basic commodities such as typhoons and other natural calamities as well as the demand and supply of these commodities.
Nonetheless, the continuous roll back on the prices of oil and LPG largely due to the stronger peso gives a relief to us.
sa man d ay gusto nnyu mo ubos ang mga oresyo sa palitonon overnyt? hahahaha
btaw sakto c bai baron daghan ang factors na mo affect sa price ang basic jd kay ang supply and demand.
