islam and it's followers the muslims is a culture that is somewhat less adaptive to change brought about by modern civilization.. In other words, their culture is "left behind" when it comes to evolution of our modern society. They are kinda backwards for several centuries if you compare it to christianity. They are less tolerant. One thing to note is that many muslim political leaders want it to stay that way or tolerate the culture because it will be to their own advantage (ie Political survival, family dynasties, control of the masses).

What's happening in Europe is actually quite alarming. Mass immigration has resulted in the cultural landscaping changing for the worse as failure to integrate and political demands upon the host country have alienated the original citizens. The public in some European towns feel like strangers in their own country and the enormous difference in birthrates means that Islamification is almost inevitable.

its never right to criticize people according to their religion. The reason why they fight is because they felt so belittled man gud. every single mistake that a muslim does, i generalize man sa uban. Yet, catholic people were never criticize if muhimo dautan. Criticize the religion, not the person. If any religion or ideology should be immune from intelligent criticism, what does that result in?

i even have few muslim friends. even i do have a muslim uncle.

but i still do not trust muslims wherever i go, except my muslim uncle in mindanao. ana man gud na, basta naa muslim, naa jud na samok or gubot.

take a look an example of iligan city or cotabato city. both cities daghan pod muslims. wala kaayu improvements sa ila city. especially in cotabato city nga ang mayor there is a muslim, wala jud maayu developments.

Nope. Not a muslim. My baptismal certificate says I'm Catholic but I'm an atheist in practice. And yes, I have read the Qur'an and some commentaries on the Sunnah and Sharia.

Nope actually it's the other way around. Ang mga tao gani mismo, particularly the moderates and liberals, ang naghatag ug not-so-faithful yet tolerant, progressive, and compassionate na interpretation sa mga Islamic sacred texts. The texts themselves are rife with violence and repression. Your so-called 'radicals' are actually the ones who are faithful to the texts. Kung ang western civilization wala pa niabot sa mga Islamic nations, padayun pa unta nig follow sa strict code of Sharia ang mga Muslim didto. Nagpinutlanay ug ulo ug nagbinatuay pa ni sila without western influence. Tan-aw ang Saudi, Iran, ang Afghanistan sauna, and most Islamic nations in Africa. Kini sila na mga nations are under strict Sharia control and their people are suffering from repression.

I'm a Catholic only by name. Although Catholicism and Christianity in general has its share of violence and hypocrisy, they are nothing compared to Islam. Dark ages? Both the Muslims and Catholics shared the dark ages, the difference lang is that Christians actually moved on! Ang mga muslims nagpabilin sa Dark Ages, hantod karun feeling gihapon nla na Ok ra mupatay ug infidels. Christians felt the same way about 800 years ago but they've moved on. Naa kay nadunggan for the last few century na nagdeclare na leader from a MAJOR (yaw lang nang apila ang mga fringe cults with 100 followers or so) Christian sect to kill infidels in masse?

I'd rather label religion evil than label the people practicing it evil. Good people will do good things and bad people will do bad things, but for good people to do bad things, that requires the influence of religion, and Islam in particular has done an exceedingly good job in making well-meaning fathers disown their raped daughters and good citizens turn to xenophobia and chop infidels' heads off. If I were a practicing Catholic (which I;m not), I'd be insulted if you call me a terrorist, but unlike a devout Muslim, kutob ra ko sa bagulbul ug reklamo, di ko mamumba ug mga innocente na tao. Kung naay journalist na nag-drawing ug blasphemous caricature kay Jesus, the most i could do is file a case against him in court, dili nako butangan ug fatwa iya ulo.

People's deeds dictate whether they are good or evil. And as deeds change, people may change also from good or evil. That's not case the case with religion. If a religious texts says that infidels are to be killed, then infidels are to be killed. Walay mausab anah. Maayo na gani na naay mga but-an na Muslims who disregard that passage mandated by their religion. Kung sundun jud na nila ang ila religion, patay!

How about Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Bahrain, they are all islamic cities?? Walay development noh?
