for me, just close any applications if you are not using them.. use task manager to close 'em..

can the p990 store its text messeges in its memory card just like what nokia phones are capable of doing?? if not , is there a program that you can install?

To Save Battery Life:
Turn of Wifi & Bluetooth when you are not using it. Have screen saver active. If you are using a bluetooth headset and need buletooth on, enable powersaving mode.

And as c_cebrecus mentioned, turn off aps you are not usingd, end them using tak manager.

hey guys,

just traded my p910i for a brand new P990 in greenhills this week. so far so good... encountered some bugs though...but minimal. the camera is impressive. plus it has a protective cover p gyud. however, i found out that wala lagi ang mga games mentioned like the vijay golf and quadbumper something. so my question is, did your fone come with the games installed already if not, where did you download it? also, can't seem to write the letter "i" using the stylus. in my old p910i, it was so easy. now, its impossible. have to press the letter "i" in the qwerty keyboard. hope you can give me your feedbacks. thanks.

got the games back...you just have to update it. however, murag buggy lagi ang golf game. mubati ang graphics...hehehe

how do u know what version you firmware is now do you go to the device settings or something? hope someone can give me directions. thanks.
