Chino Trinidad versus Nonito Donaire

Mano-a-mano, Chino? No weapons? I want to see this fight, because I want to see Nonito silence this sportswriter's hubris (outrageous arrogance). Nonito is right in stomping his foot down when he sees sportswriters interfering in his private affairs. Having one's family problems written about in public makes it harder to resolve. It's the last thing anyone in that situation needs.

If you were in Nonito's shoes, you would also tell those sportswriters to back off. And that's what Nonito did. Everyone was brought up to mind our own business and that minding someone else's private affairs is rude. Sportswriters should not take that personally and wage a personal war on the subject they're writing about. I'm on Nonito's side on this one.

Nonito is the one who's being unprofessional here. you don't go on threatening people and especially sportswriters cause it's their job to give the people insights and infos...

that's why i don't like Nonito Jr. as a person cause he's flat out cocky as hell!

It's not professional to write something that's going to destroy a family. Sportswriters should be cognizant of moral ethics and not be driven by harmful speculations that pander to a rumor-hungry media market just because it will sell news. The fact that you've already made up your mind about Nonito without even getting to know him is already proof of the hatchet job such rumors make.

If I were in Nonito's shoes, I'd feel the same way. If I were in Chino's shoes, I'd take the warning to back off as a time to reflect and think...that perhaps I've crossed the line. That's why I find Chino's macho line response "Kung matapang ka talaga Nonito Jr---Alam mo kung saan ako makikita. Hihintayin kita" as outrageous arrogance.

That's just my opinion.
