    Default mid year bonus... question lang...


    mods, palihug lang ug balhin kung sayop nga category ako nabutangan...

    anyway, naa ko pangutana... sakto ba ni pgkacompute amu mid year bonus or half sa 13th month

    accumulated earnings from January to June / 12 pay periods (instead of 6 months) = mid year bonus...

    kung half na xa 13th month pay murag alkanse mo ana nga computation

    but there is no law requiring companies to give mid-year bonus..

    what is required kay 13th month ra gyud..

    According sa Labor code, 13th month pay ra ang mandatory nga ihatag sa companies sa ilang empleyado. Pero ang ubang companies, bahinon ug ikaduha ang 13th month, ang first part e advance ug hatag sa midyear, then ang remaining half kay sa november or december.

    Fortunately for some companies, aside sa 13th month pay, mohatag pa sila ug Midyear bonus (depende sa company kung pila ang bonus)... sometimes called 14th month pay if equivalent ug 1month pay. Naa gani mohatag pa ug 15th month, 16th, etc,...

    like sa government office where i am working ryt now, mao ra sad na ang computation pero naa lang additional bonus & cash gift.

    sure ka bro nga mao ra ang resulta sa 12 pay periods vs 6 months??
    okay, ato suwayan ha....

    e.g.:
    50,000 (accumulated earnings from Jan to June) / 6 months = 8,333.33

    50,000 (accumulated earnings from Jan to June) / 12 pay periods = 4,166.66

    mao ra ba ang resulta? murag dili man...

    ang ako man gud point diri kay instead idivide ug 6 months, ila gihimu ug 12 pay periods... even though 12 pay periods is equivalent to 6 months, if you do the computation, lau ra kau...

    unsa diay ako pasabot ani sir ang amu mid year kay ang first half sa amu 13th month...

    Nakuha na nimu imu mid year? if imu nakuha is half sa imu basic, then katunga na sa imuhang 13th month... kung full nimu na basic then 14th month pay na... Lahi2x man gud nag computation ang mga companya...

    basta ang pagcompute ana kay ang basic ra way labot ang mga incentives ug overtime.
