Default how to let windows all of the RAM?

guys diba usually while gaming ang ram usage mu lapas man 2gb - 4gb. nganu sa ako system (win7 x64 OS, 8gb ram) usually naa raman sa 2gb something ang gamit sa ram, even with the game set at very high like crysis 2 or Fable III.

If e turn off ang page file sa Windows, ma gamit ba in full ang 8gb memory? unsa ang effects sa performance?

btw: tested the rams with hci memtest 4 loops, no errors.

unless a game/appz is exclusively 64bit, i dont think it will use more than 4gb coz limitation...

I havent seen a game break 2GB in memory usage, games are still coded in 32bit so they are limited to using 1.8Gb of ram.

Both Crysis 2 and Fable 3 run between 990MB to 1.2Gb of ram, Only SC2 really hits the 1.82GB limit on 32bit apps/games

Also if you want to see the total memory used by a specific application under task manager, you need to change the view type to Memory - Working set

A lot of productivity and editing (photo/video) apps can consume even more than 8GB. I believe one of our moderators here use about 12GB of his 16GB system when editing photos.
