Yep Cebuano ko but both my parents are from Mindanao ari lang ko nagdako. Of course dako ang davao compared to Cebu, dont forget Cebu is just an island but look at Cebu, a very progressive island in the south. Kbaw man ta na ang Davao is the biggest city in Asia in terms of "land area". Potential ang Davao because dako2x ilang land area to put up business following the steps of Cebu and Manila. I doubt if Cebu is untidy though its not as clean as Davao but well painted ang road structure and even mga poste sa kadalanan. If you heard about the Road revolution and the city revitalization project sa Cebu then it will make Cebu more attractive.
Sakto gamay ug huot na ang Cebu tungod sa mga developments but naka afford ta ug having 2 reclaimed areas ang NRA and SRP which are the next center of businesses after CBP and AITP. The good thing was the Govt.was able to create a "Subway Tunnel" linking NRA and SRP para lusot2x lang access between the norther parts and the south.
And wait until SM Seaside City and Citta de Mare is done, those are cities arising within a city, not just a usual retail/residential complex. Those are already under construction like of that in SM Lanang.
Its you own perception if you like Davao, its what I felt man pd the first time I went there but sa cge2x na nako balik2x na differentiate na nako ang 2 ka places, the only advantage sa Davao is they have more nature spot than Cebu but heritage, economy and tourism wise mas lamang pd ang Cebu kay mas una cya na discover.
I dont think Davao can surpass Cebu, papunta pa ang Davao into a booming economy ang Cebu non-stop ang pag-progress. More and more investors are coming in, kinhanglan pa mokaon ug dako2x ang Davao before ma beat ang Cebu and that's a fact.
If Davao will go vertical, how much more ang Cebu..
Again and again, d na kinahanglan i elaborate pa aside Cebu is the undisputed Queen city of the South, its the second most important city next to Manila.
If they cant admit it, so be it.
