University of San Carlos gipalit sa USJR? Is this true?

actually the lot where USC main is situated are owned by the augustinian recollects. dugay naman ni na storya na bawiunon daw from the SVD's kay gamiton sa mga augustinians. mao bitaw na gacentralize ang tanan SVD schools into one compound which is the USC TC karon. ga hinay2x na ug balhin ang mga departments ngadto.

Based on what I know, USJ-R owns a portion of the lot where USC-Main is located. But USJ-R does not own the said institution. SVD priests planned to buy the said lot before but OAR priests refused so they rented it instead. Up to this moment, USC is still renting the said lot.

Few years ago, OAR priests planned to use the lot.

So the conflict arose: USC-Main occupies the whole area including the lot owned by USJ-R that's why OAR priests cannot easily use their property.
So the OAR priests decided to buy USC-MAIN BUILDING BUT NOT THE INSTITUTION ITSELF.

Well, early this semester, USJ-R held an event at USC-Main Campus. That was Youth for Christ - USJ-R Chapter, i think.

Bottomline:
First, USC & USJ-R are different institutions. I think this is too obvious, right? Second, USJ-R & USC are two of the top-leading universities in Metro Cebu.Third, they are owned by priests and are considered as Catholic schools. Lastly, OAR & SVD priests have the same goal: spreading God's word through their profession and to give quality Christ-centered education through the schools they own - reflect on these things!

I think this is quiet long but I'd rather share what I know about this issue. I may be wrong on the stuffs I said above that's why I'm open for any comments about this post. Thanks to all Carolinians and fellow Josenians out there who will surely have violent reactions later on. ADELANTE AMIGOS!
