Yes Cebu is OLD yet a very progressive city, yes angkon man mi na in some areas hugaw ang Cebu and naa jd mga policies na hinay2x pa gi-adopt peru katingalahan ngano daghan jd mo invest sa Cebu and lately Cebu was awarded as ASEAN City of Culture. Katingalahan jd ngano known jd ang Cebu being next to Manila dili lang diri sa ato but internationally, lately lang gani another international ailrines "Tiger Airways" added direct flights diri sa Cebu no wonder why an additional International Airport be constructed here in Cebu which will be due on 2015.

Aw, wa man mi magexpect na masuya ang Davao sa Cebu wa man mi paki-alam tawon peru basing on the violent reaction, d ra tantong NASUYA? mo..

Given your history you should be the envy of all in terms of development in all aspects but no you're definitely NOT..Cge mo pahambog sa nu buildings. You hope Davaoenos envy you. You can die hoping. If "most livable city" is measured by basic salary and wages, heck, what else would it be but Manila.. If such award is given to Manila it would be the most ridiculous..diba? So dili na cya measure..so what kung dko nu basic salary? wla man mi nangamatay sa kagutom diri..

Maong proud me taga Davao kay despite all the odds, "as in odds jud na dili nimo gustohon mahitabo sa Cebu", we are now considered the "third" city in the Philippines next to Cebu and Manila..daghan pa unta keug dapat nauna sa amoa as in daghan pa jud..And Davao achieved that in the last two decades lang..MAKE SENSE OF THAT...kamo? pila na mo ka years? never mind.

Davao was formally inaugurated as a chartered city on October 16, 1936, by President Manuel L. Quezon. The City of Davao then became the provincial capital of the then undivided Davao Province. It was one of the first two towns in Mindanao to be converted into a city, the other being Zamboanga. By that time the city's population was 68,000.



Cebu is the oldest City in the Philippines but that doesnt mean wala na discover ang uban lugar sa pinas... mas na una pa gani naging chartered city ang Davao kaysa sa Cebu City. unya 2 decades old pa ang Davao? toinkssss.
