No matter whether 6'3". In the coach Norman system you earn your minutes. Ngano man diay, mahudlok si macmac? Macmac has "mad skills". Newsome probably would have had to bump off Macmac and not the other way around by then.
Big point guards have never really done well in the UAAP. Speedy point guards do better in college ball. In the pros maybe.
mao bitaw na rason sa mama ni mac2 nga naa bag o pg cris newsome og c kiefer ravena e pg sad panagsa kung modula na c buenafe
I just saw this thread now. It seems Tallo's dad is contradicting himself. Unsa man gyud, playing time ba gi-apas or dili?
If you talk to any casual Atenean or LaSallian UAAP fan, they won't even know who Tallo is. It is only Istorya.net that can get a 30 page discussion on this subject. Regardless of school, the casual fan doesn't keep tabs with the Team B players.
The only for Tallo to be a discussion-worthy topic would be the actually play in the UAAP and have his breakout game. Then all the fans will know him. Playing in Team B with all the playing time he wants - in gym practices - won't get Tallo known. His stock is plummeting fast and no one even knows him enough to care.
Agree ko with what someone said - nga si Tallo gitago ra ni Black para dili ma scout sa uban team. I think he would eventually get playing time middle of the season when the going gets really tough. He was a hidden asset. Sayang iyang decision. One year of waiting is one year longer it takes to improve. Practice can never mimic competition.
Mao na even now sa lockout, NBA players are trying to find a league to play in - no matter how far from home it is. They need their bodies to be ready and fit. Remember the last NBA lockout? Look what happened to Shawn Kemp after that. NBA Superstar - went out of shape, got overweight and substance abuse problems.
Ateneo and some alumni benefactors invested on Tallo. They sent him with the team to the US and so many other trips. They would not do that if Tallo would just sit in the bench. Black wouldn't visit Cebu multiple times and insist on getting Tallo if he didn't believe in Tallo. Ateneans are not that dumb to invest so much on a kid only to bench him.
At the end of the day, I think sayop ang decision ni Tallo. You leave a championship school playing in the country's biggest college league to join team B of a non-championship school doing practice scrimmages in the gym? Then what if the coach doesn't give him playing time again next year?
I pity the kid. I think he is too young to make his own decisions and the advisers around him did not think this thoroughly.

its not a bad decision kay wla paman ang result sa iya decision...I dont see strong scorers sa La Salle karon he mac2x becomes one and gives an immediate impact next year dih maayo ang decision... He hasnt played yet so wla pa gyud tah kita sa katag ani... puro pa sturya will see in the next few years.. in fairness to keifer in the game against La Salle he deserved that spot and earned it..
paduwa sah c mac2x una tah mo judge kng sakto bah oh dili
