hehe..nalimot naman ko ani nga thread. Yep bro, its different from cost averaging. This is a way of picking stocks by:

Finding there intrinsic value, applying some tests and evaluations on the said company, quantitatively and qualitatively.

This is where the famous phrase from Ben Graham comes " Investment operations is one in which upon thorough analysis promises safety of principal and satisfactory return, investment operations not meeting this are speculations."

And as stated by Ben Graham himself, speculators are bound to lose. ^^ PEACE..

sa pagsabot nako sa libro murag a simplier version of the books written by Benjamin Graham kay 800 pages man kuno to.

Written by Janet Lowe, Graham's assistant. She promotes Graham's and Buffet's investing principles.

But I can't say how good the book is kay newbie jud ko.
a quick scan of all the pages wala koy nakita nga charts or tables. so murag matulon rani sa mga dili kaayo hilig ato hehehe.

I believe Ben Graham's books were Security Analysis, The Intelligent Investor and Building a Professional.
The Security Analysis, is being called the "Bible of Investing", and just like the the the Holy Bible, it's filled with good advice but no one wants to read it.. ^^

ang value sa stocks depende ra man siguro na sa kompanya na imo gipalitan ug share. Unsa ka lig-on ug unsa ka kusog ang negosyo sa firm .. this is just my 2 cent opinion.
