pornography v. erotic art

Pornography is said to be different from erotic art and pornography is not Art.

How does one differentiate the two?
Or what does one think between the subject of pornography and erotic art in the realms of Aesthetics?

Any thoughts?

Here we go again

If it depicts the beauty and emotion of the human body then I'd call it art. Something that stirs your soul rather than your loins.

Pornography would be in-your-face people explicitly exposing themselves and/or engaging in malicious *** acts.

The middle child is erotica. It's more than just art as it is a creative work ment to arrouse but is not as graphic as porn.

Though someone once mentoined erotica to be the "thinking man's porn"
