It's the other way around. Sige pa tawag ang Ateneo(but not Norman) to try to settle with the Tallos. I was with the elder Tallo several times when the calls were made.

This is not meant to argue with anyone but I am just stating what I witnessed.

Since murag sige mu uban ni Mr. Tallo can you tell us what the calls were about and since not from Norman was it official team business? I'm sure there are people who still want Macmac to play for Ateneo. Maybe those who have sacrificed to bring him there? Maybe those who took care of him while training locally and overseas. Natural ra man na na ganahan sila na mag-stay siya since sila sad mag-mahay ug ma-ulaw. If some people don't see the importance of paying respect to the people that took care of you (even with a phone call to talk it over BEFORE you jump ship) then you cannot do anything.


I'm sure Ateneo was under a deadline and wanted to be able to submit it's line-up. They could have wanted finality. Have there been calls after the submission deadline for line-ups?

I'm sure since penciled in na si Macmac sa Team A (the only ones who go abroad), mas ganahan sila to keep him rather than bring a player from team B up. Bisan kinsa man would rather keep a player who they have planned into the line-up, so up to last minute basin they were still hoping. What does that mean...naa sila plano for Macmac's future I guess.

All water under the bridge, a "burned bridge" at this point I think. The Tallos made a decision to leave the way they did. That way made them SEEM impatient AND ungrateful people. It could be far from the truth. They could be the most patient and grateful people on earth. Unfortunately they can only be judged by their actions, so far IMHO their actions show otherwise.


Since kauban nimo si Mr. Tallo can you ask him a few questions:

Does Mr. Mark Anthony have any plans to repay the costs of the training in the US?

Does he have plans to return items that they received uniforms, training jerseys, clothes, etc (I think Fr. Que has a jacket in there somewhere lent for the cold trip to the US.)?

Finally can you ask him what he means by saying Macmac has to keep his "status"?

Ateneo's win over La Salle, the breakout game of Ravena, and the weak points of La Salle seems to verify MacMac's decision to leave Ateneo and eventually go for La Salle may be the right choice. La Salle needs help to fortify their roster, while Ateneo is solid with several options available to help their cause.

Problem lang ni Macmac karon... LA Revilla looks like the sole bright spot for the archers so best case niya is to be a second stringer until Revilla graduates.

ADMU on the other hand will be without an experienced PG next yr and I don't think Tiongson is that good of a ball handler / facilitator.
