Camera CCD Failure

My Canon A75 suddenly conked out and started giving me hazy pics. I did a little search and found out that this is a documented problem for Digicams that use Sony CCDs manufactured 2002-2004. Thought I might share the reference for anyone who might have this problem.

Yep i heard about that. One reason why Canon is now using their own CCD/CMOS sensors for all their cameras. From point&shoot to dSLRs. Which is a good thing, aside from better servicing, their CMOS sensors are the best so far.
