JACOB'S NEW YORK BAGELS & DELI
Located at
Crossroads (all the way at the end... the newer building).
Specialty- flavored coffees, bagels, submarine sandwiches (aka... hoagies, grinders, hero's, wedges, hoagie, Italian sandwich, poor boy, sub, torpedo).
Soft opening now happening (not all menu items available yet, but
above mentioned available now). Other items (hot food entrees) available soon.

My first impressions: Enough seating for maybe 20 persons "total". More of a take-out place for me. Submarine Sandwiches are reasonably priced, fresh french baguettes used, could use more meat on sandwiches (I think you can pay extra to add more meat). Tried Roast beef and cheddar cheese (roast beef tasted more like corned beef to me but that's okay). Took home some fresh bagels to try out the next day. They are available fresh or frozen (so you can take home and put straight in your freezer) and come in different varieties (plain, blueberry, poppy seeded, cinnamon, more

). I wanted to try the sunflower seeded bagels but they were out of stock. So I opted for plain. Their bagels are delicious and cost about 20 pesos each.
These are authentic bagels and have the chewiness that you expect from a bagel but don't always get when you buy from a regular bakery (like "swiss cottage" for example). You can also get toppings for your bagels if you want (i.e. cream cheese, mozzarella & tomatoe, strawberry jam, etc).
Service was very friendly although a little disorganized which can be expected for a soft opening.
As for me, in the future I will probably just have coffee there and pick up some frozen bagels to take home. Check it out for yourself your opinion may differ. Just trying to put out some info and my *one peso opinion*.
