    naa ba laing paagi ani..

please close na lang ni mga master.. i got a solution na.. thnx.
solution: i have to re-write everything from scratch to PHP.. kay wala gyuy lain mas immediate ug lowcost nga pa-agi. hinoon simple rani nga system. just data entries for sales (not a POS)

    thnx anyway

What you actually made is a long-term fix which is great. And it sounds like it was easy to migrate so that's good. However, if it was a large application, migration is probably the last thing on your mind. A quick fix would have been to open the MySQL port (?3306) on your webhost, that is if you have access, and grant permissions to the client IP address that will be accessing the database. Change the connection string of your client apps to connect to your server using the IP address scheme and you're good to go. Of course, this excludes any security issues, etc.

Note, since you were not given access to SSH, there is 90% chance you are not allowed to open ports too. However, you are not yet stuck but I don't think it's still relevant to talk about the other possible solutions.
