    @TS, ask lang sa mga students nga nakaagi na ani nga subject basin dili sad to IT consultant ang gi require sa ilaha.

    for me no need na to have a consultant be a consultant yourself makalearn pka.... Just do some research and be innovated...

    Ang gamit sa consultant is to be a head in the group that gives input based on experience and expertise. Without pressure, without bias.

    Sure, doing your own research is important, this is true in all aspects of learning but what do you mean by "be innovated"? Maybe you mean "be innovative"? It doesn't apply here, being innovative in your research will still prove to be trivial compared to what a real expert can contribute.

    I strongly agree here though there are few exemptions like the guys who started the idea, the real innovators, the architects, like Steve, Bill, etc. They learned stuff on their own, there maybe "inspirations" from other works but they are not in any way "formal". And they are not your ordinary IT consultant so yes, getting help and work with someone with expertise with all the successes and failures evidenced through his grey hair is better than those that are textbook-based.

    You can get anyone, a consultant, a programmer (to me, they are names only) as long as he knows how to mentor and has the ability to share the experience how a software development suppose to feel then get that guy.
