Season One Championship
Welcome, summoners, to the thrilling conclusion of League of Legends: Season One!
The League of Legends Season One Championship is a professional gaming tournament over nine months in the making. Since the Season One Circuit began, teams from all across the globe have been battling non-stop for one of eight spots in the Championship. Now the top 40 players from over 10 different countries will gather at Dreamhack, the largest LAN event in the world, to compete for their share of a $100,000 prize pool. The winners will take home a massive $50,000 grand prize, along with the honor of being named the first ever League of Legends Season Champions!
Live coverage of this historic event will begin on the 18th of June with live matches, interviews with the competitors, updates to the brackets, and photos from the event site. Please note that live coverage will be English only. Be sure to return on June 18th to watch the drama unfold live, as the League of Legends Season One Champions are crowned!

Team Pacific comes from a strong background in MOBA gaming, starting their career in competitive Defense of the Ancients. They soon branched out into League of Legends, beginning their careers together on the North American platform before the Southeast Asian platform went live. Once the service was live in their region, the team transferred over, quickly earning a place in the DreamHack qualifier. While competitive League of Legends is still young in their region, Team Pacific has a long completion history to fall back on going into the Season One Championship. Native to the Philippines, Team Pacific players pcfc.iddo, Nsj, pcfc.ruin, pcfc.gibo, pcfc.wormy, and pcfc.dabe are eager to represent their nation in Sweden this coming June!
