I'm not saying what the mayor did was right. What I'm saying is when people gets emotional, they tend to overdo things. They do things they weren't suppose to be the decorum of a civilized people.

The residents got emotional that's why rocks landed on policemen's face. (can't imagine)
Policemen got emotional that's why the baton swung on one of the resident's forehead.
And so on and so forth.

But when you're in a situation, that instance, that time that you have to fight for what is right for someone, for people who are part of your life, you tend to forget what will happen to you, to tend to forget what people will say against you. The first human instinct is, I got to protect them.
