Dli jud angay btaw manumbag sa tao na dili mo tuman sa imohang request pero what if mas severe ang nahitabo tungod wala natuman to ang request. Example Nangamatay tanan tungod kai init nag ulo tanan. If ma avoid unta mas maayo. Para nako sayop ang gibuhat na mao to pero nabuhat rato niya tungod sa kalagot. Sa akoang opinion the sheriff got what he deserved. Just my two cents.

What's next? gun down anyone that earns the displeasure of the mayor? Oh wait, we're talking of Davao City...they are already doing that.

Keep cheering the mayora's actions. you'll only realize the INJUSTICE once you are the victim.

For all we know, the sheriff was only doing his job. He is not under the Mayor's Office (Executive branch) but the RTC (Judicial Branch). The Mayor cannot and have no authority to order him around. With this act, the Mayor only asserted that she does not respect the judiciary. She is showing that SHE (the Dutertes) is the LAW in Davao.

BTW, this is precisely why we have a very big problem with squatters. The mayors and other local officials coddle them, or at the least show a patronizing attitude. Whenever a court order is to be executed to return a piece of real property to its rightful owners, they come in and act "compassionate" to their squatting constituents.

You have a Mayor who's a Lawyer and she knows well enough that the Sheriff has no authority to grant an extension of time even just for 2 hours. Being a Lawyer she should have channeled her request to the issuing authority, the RTC Judge.

Out of arrogance being a Duterte who's only brave when there are bodyguards around, she interferred with the functions of the Court.

Are the Dabawenyos proud of what she did ? If they are, then it only shows that the people there do not value their civil rights. It only serves you Dabawenyos right to be subject to abuse by these people in authority.

i dont know why people praised Mayor Duterter of what she did

anyway ang mga tao sa davao nalipay, contento sa pag dagan sa balaud nila duterte. kung wala pa sila nalipay dugay nang wala naka lingkod pagka mayor ang mga duterte. it is also unfair for outsiders to questions how davaoenos run there city. ask any davaoeno or try living there for a month and see for your self why this kind of system works. to outsiders it may seem brut or as what one member coined "uncivilized".

what may work in a city may not work on another. it's as simple as that.
ang way mahimo dawat na lang sa unsay gusto sa mga duterte ayo mabugha ka sa dalan. pero ang mga nakasabot sa dagan sa davao either naa dire sa cebu or manila nag work kay lisod man ang trabaho didto. cge siya gukod anang mga illegal drugs pero naa man gihapon daghan namaligya.

i think it's a sign for davaoenos to choose another family name for a mayor next election. pila na ka tuig nag gunit pero hinay ang asenso sa lugar barato man unta ang electricty, real estate, food unya nice ang water pero ambot ngano

YouTube - ‪Mayor Duterte hits media man this time.

(sabay binaba yung phone)

hehehehe, so mag mayor sata ayha ta maka istorya ni Mayor Duterte, hehehehe... so if di ta mo sunod sa iya gusto, SAPUL! lol....

whats new with this line "nilagay mo sa kamay yung batas", hehehehe...

kinsa man pud mu puli si nograles? dureza? mahipus? as i said before if the people aren't happy with how duterte is running the city surely come next election season makita nato kung unsa man gyud. as for the drug problem mas maayo nang nay gibuhat kaysa wala. ang droga d na wala but it can be minimized or make it harder to acquire so is the exposure to it.

as for davao economy i have to agree with you hinay ang growth "COMPARED TO CEBU" in the recent years. but considering what davao was before and how old davao city is, nonetheless it is undeniable that there is growth slowly but surely evidently naa nay ayala, robinsons another sm opening soon. call centers etc...
you cannot compare cebu to davao in terms of economics kay layo ragyud. investors are coming d nato na ma deny bpo's are sprouting like mushrooms kay saturated na kaayo sa ubang lugar.
as i observed what davao was 10 years ago its like consolacion. 5 years ago mactan. and presently like a cleaner mandaue.
as investor confidence rises more jobs are produced. miskan ako nakoy plano in 3 years time i will invest in davao.

lisud pud sa ubang taga dabaw overly proud and protective ra kaayo sila kung asa sila gikan. i can understand that and im used to be like that.
realistically speaking davao is growing like never before but its still a far cry compared to cebu.
