People are basically short sighted, if they don't possess the proper tools to analyze a problem/situation. Right this very moment it's raining hard, and I bet people are mumbling stuff like "bagyo na ni ron", but I'm looking at SSEC at the moment:

and I can see that the weather will actually improve as the night wears on--wala'y bagyo. This rain is just a normal pattern of having the ITZ in the area.

People should stop being shortsighted and start learning tools to expand their vision.

Various places in the Philippines is experiencing flash floods like in Davao City with more than 20 dead and also in Pampanga. Not to mention the shocking Ondy experience in Metro Manila.

Here in Cebu, we also have our share of grave inundation last January 25.

Are these signs of the massive effects of Global Warming? Are these inevitable?

The thread title is just an exaggeration. Figures of speech. We have been experiencing abnormal floods, in Metro Manila. Davao, Pampanga and even here in Cebu. I'm trying to solicit opinions about the floods.

For the record, this thread is not about religion but anyone who would like to post in this thread about his religious beliefs is very much welcome. Freedom of expression.
