Randy Rhoads. It was very unfortunate that he died at such a young age (25 yrs. old). He would have been on of the greatest. As one article put it, the world was not ready for him. RIP Randy.

How ironic! Did you know that "Little Wing", which is frequently covered by Joe Sat, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen on their G3 Tour is by Jimi Hendrix? G3 has also a rendition of Hendrix' Vodoo Child. Just my two cents....


not to mention Hendrix's Foxy Lady which they covered sa Japan gig with John Petrucci. If Im not mistaken, they're always covering a Hendrix song in EVERY G3 gig. Sa 1st ever G3 Red House ila gi-cover.

hope the next g3 tour will feature micheal angelo, so far, it only happend once that they featured another berklee graduate which was petrucci as far as i know..

i've met him when he visited one of the music stores in maryland when i was there. VERY nice guy! grabe ka humble gyud. i think nag teach man sya sa berklee. limpyo kaayo mo sweep oi, dili gyud masangit. hatag sya ug mga tips on soloing, and to study theories kay makatabang gyud daw ingon niya.
