hhhhmmmm, dugay nku cge apply sa government. I was thinking that it was easy since I already pass the civil service exam last 2010. Pero lisod mn sudlon oi.. and agency pd ang una, meaning mgwait pa ka if naa mo retire, para naa ka chance na ma sulod as regular.

and to think na naa ko father sa government, wala ghapon ko nya napasulod. but im happy where i am right now

Bisan kinsa imo backer duna vacancies na di jud ka kasulod. Like sa Foreign Service Officer for example. Either qualified ra ka or dili.

Ang backer system sa amoa is not exactly like what normal people assume it to be. Sa amo department na national-executive you need good credentials in the form of referrals from people or institutions who are well known in the field (academics). Like say a recommendation from the dean of from UP or Ateneo to qualify for the exams mao ni imo backer. Dunay makasulod mga anak sa ginoo pero kutob ra sa Personnel Selection Board and tuyoon ug taktak inig abot sa table sa appointing authority.

Sa amo lisod ang time kay duna mi 24 hour shifts kay kuwang taw. But ang benefits kay nindot like security of tenure, easy access to loans, incentives and a chance for further studies here and abroad. Di ka matangtang ug sayon then nice ang camaraderie kay everywhere you go duna jud kay ka trabaho anang lugara. Then opportunity para business naa pud not through graft but through the info na duna mi access.

@batang_bronse and @brandnewbien asa mo na agency sir?
