i bike 3 times a week exercise lang,,, it would be nice if we can have a lane bitaw.... its dangerous to bike with all the vehicles on your side.... hope makadungog ang atong city officials ani,,, and to the NGO sa mga negosyante sa cebu nindot unta if you would help na mu provide ug bike to your employees and sa tanan lets encourage everyone to bike instead of riding on a vehicle na nagbuga ug aso....

Palapdan unta ang sidewalks and mag butang ug bike lane, nya tamnan ug kahoy sa kilid para landong, in that way maganahan ang mga tao mag lakaw ug mag bike, and ma lessen ang mag commute og mag awto, so lesser congestion in roads and we dont have to widen roads and construct fly overs, creating a more livable city.

my usual route by car to the office takes about 40 minutes covering the distance of 11.5 kilometers. thats only 16 km/hr and using a 1 ton vehicle to carry me, a 60kg load (without considering comfort/convenience). Cars were designed to be efficient at speeds near 60kph. my rate is slower than the average bicycle speed, 20kph and occupying about 4 bicycles on the road. is there a more efficient way to move people? the most practical, environment friendly, and healthy option is cycling! With the traffic on the road, most cars/auvs/suvs are burning gas/diesel while idling. if the streets cannot support automobiles to move at its most efficient speed of 60kph or faster than a bicycle then the Local government units should help provide us with an alternative means of transportation thats not wasting fossil fuel and contributing to greenhouse effect. my means of transportation is comparable to a huge trisikad with A/C, sounds, and burning 1++ liter of gasoline per trip. sige na, Mr. Mayor, taga-i mi ug bicycle lane. Salamat.
