HP Service Center sa capitol site recommends R'Bound or RuelNov, if the problem is just component level ( ic | transistors | resolder etc.. ) and the Solution HP can give officially is whole part replacement.

i personally admire their honesty in giving an option for the Tens of Thousand worth problem..

experienced this with an Nvidia MCH bug with DV9000.. the replacement is worth 23k
