C++ primer plus 5th ed <-- Good book for C/C++
game coding complete 3rd ed <-- not recommended for novice/beginner like you. You need to understand
3d theory/math, directx rendering pipeline, design patterns, OOP/OOC before you can grasp the lessons on this book. Pero this book is cool if you know DX already

beginning c++ through game programming 3rd ed<--recommended for programming novice but not recommended in progrmaming discipline

3d game programming for teens <-- not recommeded even to beginners, this book focuses more on the game part not on the engineering part.

it will take time before you fully 'understand' and 'learn' C++, it is just a language, but the discipline of usage takes time

    Learn design patterns first
    http://www.amazon.com/Design-Pattern...9217797&sr=8-1

    learn OOP first.
    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...ed+programming

Ofcourse, to write an application in MS Windows, you need to learn windows programming first using Windows SDK, mao ni ang foundation sa mga directx programmers.

    kaning libro ni Petzold kay mao ni ang bible sa mga windows programmer;
    http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Wi...9218420&sr=8-1

after learning the core of windows programming, learn the Graphics part, its the Graphics Device Interface of Windows (GDI)

before diving to directx or OpenGL.

this book is good introduction to directx (But most of the theories you need to understand by your own and ofcourse by experience)

    http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-P...9217893&sr=1-2

it takes time and experience to learn bro, specially dli nmo field ang programming goodluck bai

yeah btaw daghan btaw ebooks available
ang only problem sa ebook kay..
    since these are technical books
    1. you dont have the source code or accompanying cd with it. unless makakita ka sa iyang source online.
    2. you dont have the right support from the author of the book. Trust me this is very usefull specially
    technical stuff like game programmimng.
    3. its piracy
