sorry to hear that brad... the ham killed his cage mate... it's possible for hamsters to do that even at old age... mas kusog and cannibalism sa hamsters pag bata pa sila or kung naay bata sa sulod... I;ve experienced that before... I have 14 hams in one cage... mga pups pato sila from three different moms... the earlier batch are more of "cannibals" than good roommates ... ones makatilaw na silag lami sa ilang igsuon gnaahan na silag kaun jud... my 14 hams ended up with 9 then 6... they usually eat the weak ones... labaw na if competition kayo sa kaun ug space... and if naka tilaw jud sila... IMO and IME rana ha... but sure ko gikaun na sa isa ka ham ang iyang kauban , maybe after fighting...
Sako lang nabantayan pud,. mas kusog mag ingana ang dwarfs compared to syrian... other people say it's because of incest nga gataas ang possibility sa cannibalism... others say insctinct najud pud na nila...

Ahhh Dwarfs raba ni ang hamster sa akong manghod. Guol kaayo ako manghod gd hehe Babae sad raba ni niya love kaayo iyang pet. Gilahi nlang gd nako ug cage ang isa para d makitkitan. Naa sad mi problema sa tubig, sige man ug tulo ang tubig. unsa inyong container sa ila tubig? amoa katong dako2 gamay kato pwde pangrabbit ba niya red. sigeg tulo wai klaro

^^^ hmmm di ko ga water dispenser brad... simple water dish (bisag ash tray lang gani ahaha) AKO GAMIT... since the tank I have here is pretty big, it's not a problem using the dish... ang problem lang sometimes ma spoil jud siya kay if mag dula dula or mag dagan dagan nag hams usahay naay malabay sa ilang dish nga wood shavings... sometimes pud maka swim ang hams sa water hahah naa pud one time nga nalumos akong usa ka pup... I forgot to switch the dishes... ok man ang water bottle brad but kato lang gamy gamay suitable for smaller rodents like dwarfs...

to all hamster owners, we all know that fact that through our time with our hamsters, some of our loving pets will pass away due to old age are any other sickness.specially nursing mums who's pups sometime die for natural reason, my question is how do you humanely and cleanly dispose of your passed away hamster? any suggestions? cuz in this month 3 of my hamsters died 2 days from each other.

I know burrying is the easiest way but my mom wont allow me.

i cut them into pieces and made adobo for dinner. yumyum

ako gina bury jud nako sila...but nakoy mga pups dini nga nara sa plastic... sealed kayo.. .the last pups sako first syrian... akong first jud na favorite syrian... medyo wala sa saktong oras siya naka anak and her babies died... I cried a lotkay nalouy ko sakong ham... ang apan naka limot kog lubongnila... one year na karon sako room... wala man nag gawas ang smell kay naka seal ayo ang plastic wrap ahaha

ang akong mga dwarf hamsters gikaon sa iring...putik iringa.......iya jd gdumtan among dwarf hamsters kay pirting tamboka....ahahaha...T_T....
