    Nihapit ko didto for the purpose of looking at the available job openings and not exactly para mo-apply on the spot. Naa man sad ubang kumpanya didto na dili sige mag-advertise sa dyaryo, so at least ma-aware ta na naa diay sila vacancy or available positions na posibleng interesting para nimo. Though indeed, medyo daghan ang nag-pooling didto.

    Okay ra nako ang job fair gahapon kay daghan ug medyo assorted ang mga kumpanya didto. Dili sila limited sa mga call center; naa sad ang mga media, insurance, SEO, engineering, food industry, etc.

    Everybody knows this and as a result you may not be able to hold the status of this applicant if a better opportunity is just right before him.

    if an applicant is choosy as to what company to apply for, well, companies have more luxury in choosing applicants.

    half of those in Jobstreet Jobfair are multinational companies. Companies who we all know exist and dream of working there someday. They do not even have to go to jobfairs, applicants are dropping resumes at their doorstep in the hope that he or she can be atleast interviewed. We scour internet sites hoping to look for vacancy, read every classifieds ads we can manage, how is that different in jobfairs?

    If for example a certain company would advertise somewhere that there is an immediate opening for a particular position, how would you know it is really immediate? You submitted your resume, said they will call you, months went by and still no calls. Not qualified? maybe. Pooling? possible.

    Point is, applicants can only hope for the best. however you whine about it, fact is, you are at the mercy of the company, if you get hired or not. Its just the way it is.

    I.Check pasad na sa company una if your qualified for the said positon that your applying for..Patience lang kailangan anah gyud bastah mo apply kay sa kadaghan ning graduate every year..

    shish ka simple ra sa inyo gi lalisan oi... you choose what you think is best.
    if mag job fair nya pooling ang ila hiring then its your choice to go there and submit your resume.
    wala man mo gi pugngan not to apply to another company. if naa man gani company mag post ug immediate hiring then go for it and not wait sa isa ka company nga pooling ang hiring. @____@

    what em_b was trying to say is that take all the opportunity you have and taking risk, and that includes those companies nga pooling ang hiring. kay as if you have any other choice, kaw man nangita sa work so all you can do is wait... its not a waste of time kay besides dili raman pud isa kabuok imo applyan and who knows ang company nga nag pooling pa ang mo hire nimo kontra sa immediate. hehehe (we can really never tell unsay naa sa huna2 sa isa ka company not unless naa moy taw sa HR department nga tig inform)

    its a matter of waiting patiently. ug di jud ka ma hire then find another company. its plain and simple
    kay if high caliber ka nga applicant on the spot ka i hire or ikaw na mismo ila tawagan without you applying (a friend of mine experienced this nga after siya buhi-i sa isa ka company automatic gi tawagan dayon siya sa lain lain nga company)

    overall, PATIENCE is a virtue, those who waits are rewarded accordingly. no time is wasted if your spending it over something you want to have or achieve. <--- that's fact (open to comments/corrections or violent reactions heheheh)
