mao dyud nice info kay ni sa mga nag.atang sa unit.
This is not a DUAL-ACTIVE phone, rather this is DUAL-STANDBY.
Both SIMs will have a signal when the phone is on standby so meaning you can receive text messages and calls from either of the two SIMs, if the phone is on standby.
However, while you are on call on a particular SIM, you cannot receive a call from another SIM. Also, while you are sending a text message on a particular SIM, you cannot receive a text message from the other SIM while the "Message Sending" prompt is still on the screen. This is what DUAL-Standby means.
The reason for this is that the two SIMs share only one antenna, unlike dual-active phones where there are really two antennas (one for each SIM).
I think this is the reason why a forumer above said that while making a call, the signal of the other SIM dropped down. It's because the SIM is still using the antenna that it is sharing with the other SIM.
Anyway, this is still fine for me. Why receive two calls at the same time from both SIMS when the phone only has one speaker? Hehe, also lisod pod i tubag ug two different calls from both SIMS at the same time. Even if you have two separate cellphones, lisod man jud itubag ug lain phone if naa pa ka kaistorya sa lain.. Maypa i call-waiting nalang, hehehe..
Anyway, ang importante is dual-SIM ni and you carry two SIMS in just one phone, hehehe..
This retails for P1,990 in stores and it comes with 12-months warranty from NOKIA Care. Knowing that it's a Nokia, you'll have peace of mind compared if you have those unknown brands, hehe.
I don't know if there's a store selling it cheaper than the usual price.
