Movies are meant to enjoy, give values in our lives and give lessons.

Ok raman unta bisan wala special effects ang movies nato dri sa Pilipinas, basta nindot lang og story, dili corny, dili OA and dili predictable.

OK, so enough of the Filipino is stupid issues and criticizing Filipino values, etc!

It's about time to focus on another subject, FILIPINO MOVIES!

So what do we have here? As usual, I will be listing my observations on Filipino Movies, most especially movies being produced by Star Cinema and the likes.

Indie Films are an exception. Sa wala nakasabot, way labot ang mga indie films sa akong icriticize coz I know they're amazing and even achieving awards from prestigious award giving bodies in other parts of the globe!

So let me start with the okray sessions!

In General

1st point. Filipino Movies always focuses on romance and love! I was like, c'mon! not enough brainstorming from the Star Cinema staff? Wan.ay laing movie theme? Like suspense, horror, or mystery chorva? Perhaps those themes nga akong gipang.mention, makita sa mga indie films. As what I said, indie films are amazing and something worthy to watch! Those drops of tears nga makit.an sa mga romance movies, wala pa ba napul.an ang mga manan.aw ana. It's nothing, but CHEAP! what's new?! Everytime naay promotion between sa mga TV commercials, i'm fed up with this fantards of John Lloyd, Sarah Geronimo, Shaina, Bea Alonzo, and other overrated actors and actresses, not to mention, KC Concepcion, when they scream at the top of their lungs and saying we should watch the movie! and commercials will say it will be a blockbuster hit! pila na ang movies sa star cinema nga NAFLOP?

2nd point. Obviously, comedy is obvious in every Filipino Movie! seriously, comedy? i got caught up with only a few laughs and giggles, and you'll say it's freakin comedy! oh please! IT'S CORNY!

3rd point. Scary Movies! Ilado kaayo si Kris Aquino sa iyang top grossing horror movies, but guess what, ang face ni Kris Aquino kay murag horror! murag angayan pa na siya mahimong monster, the way she screams! honestly, di jud ko materrify ug Filipino horror movies, coz it's so OA! Filipino horror movies are as lame as the cockroach!

4th point. Fantasy Movies. Seriously, wa pa mu napul.an ug fantasy sa mga teleserye?

Totality

1st point. Nakabantay jud ko nga kada Filipino movie, dili mawala sa cast ang role sa bayot. no offense sa mga gays ha! i love gays, and i have lots of friends nga mga gays. ibutang pa man gani na sila sa mga scary movies. unsay purpose? para magpakatawa sila? it pisses me off! it's supposed to be a scary movie, not comedy! nya sagulan pag mga binayot. yotch, please!

2nd point. Filipino family values. If you're gonna compare it to the foreign movies, their family values are quite hidden. I mean, why give such emphasis on those values?! The story is about romance but still naa japun ang intervention sa mga family like, what the hell! That's not the main point of the story! Directors, aren't you even thinking?

3rd point. Mao na ni run. The actors talk too much! They are spoonfeeding the viewers. Unsay pagtuo aning mga scriptwriters, nga bugo ang ilang mga viewers? This is what I hate! The more you talk, the more you'll get recognize on how good are you as an actor, and it's BS! the filipino acting skills, stink!

4th point. Camera angles! No need further explanation!

Of course love stories sell. Kinsa man diay moadtog sinehan karon?
Kato rang magdatedate di ba?

ang mga tawo karon dili na kaafford og sine. magpalit na lang og DVD daghan pang malingaw.
Mao nga love stories ra ang mo sell sa Filipino movies.
Kasagarang pinoy ang mga foreign films ang gastuhan og ticket. ang pinoy films huwaton na lang sa pirated DVD.

for me filipino movies doesn't suck but some of the scene's in filipino movies are so predictable....
you can say that "KLARO AYO MA KISS NA CLA..." and another exmple is na mugawas na ang monster dha dapit .... no offend to those ho love filipino movies.

for me it suck...why? because the center of the Filipino movies kay ang mga artista...who's the "hottest love team" example, dayon maghimo dayon og story line for them..Sa gawas what they normally do (IMHO) they make the story or storyline, then they audition people that will fit the story... even pa big names mo audition for the role...

So ang movie itself is ang center (sa Gawas) ang mga artista na lang ang mo give life sa roles..mao grabe gyud ila huna huna for the movie.

balik balik lng ang idea, lain lng ang artista. If comedy kay ang ending kay naay kidnapon then e luwas sa bida then abot dyn pulis sa kalinaw after ana beach party dyn. Sa action kay naa jd nay sakyanan na mutabling -_-!
