iphone 4 IS NOT and WILL NOT be considered a SMARTPHONE.. why?? simple.. it doesn't even offer Multi tasking capability..(mutiple programs running in the program and the feature to toggle to use those programs one at the other while their running)

the available accessories
the widespread adoption of the apple connectivity in cars, speakers, headset with controls, add-ons, etc
the jailbreaking community
and the popularity
