not that impressive.

If it's really as bad as they say, sayang. I like Ryan Reynolds, and the dude can really act (see Buried) plus he's pretty funny. Bad decision sa studio to hire Campbell as the director.

actually, bias mo sa comment ninyo in terms of it against other movies (and i presume kamo tulo nanan-aw ug x-men: first class hehehehe)

although i haven't seen x-men: first class, it was a wise choice of movie for me. kai first time ko kakita ug marvel na movie na mai lesson na mapunitan.

what struck me most sa movie is ang iyang lesson na na impart.

wala siya kaayoy special effects or better yet kanang sequence na puro action na for sure mao inyo pangita, pero ang heart sa movie ang naka-compensate niya. it teaches the movie-goer the lesson na i overcome ang fears. for which ako "natauhan" ko kaayo.

If you're really a fan of Marvel and DC, you would know that you've read this story somewhere at some point in your life. The movies that they have shown lately were almost harry potter-ish, taken directly from the comic books. Itsy bitsy pieces of storylines joined together to create one motion picture. So kabalo na ta sa story niya but we still wanna see it coz before we only had to rely on our imaginations when reading the comic books.
