CPP warns US using country as pawn

The Communist Party of the Philippines on Tuesday warned of the possibility that the United States would use the country as a staging ground to launch a war against North Korea.

Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal, spokesman for the CPP, said the joint US-Philippine military exercises in Luzon and Palawan could be a preparation for the attack. He also said that the country would serve as a support base.

According to Rosal the continuous deployment of US forces to the Philippines and other countries on such a large scale could not be interpreted any other way. He said the US did exactly that before launching the invasion of Iraq in 1989-90 and again in 2003.

He said patriotic Filipinos should oppose this machination by the US government, adding that they should not allow join “aggression against countries and peoples fighting to defend their independence and freedoms.”

He also said that the joint US-Philippine military exercises represent intervention in purely internal affairs of the country. He said the drills are just a pretext for the foreign troops to build database on the insurgents and familiarize themselves in areas of conflict.

Up to 5,700 members of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Unit from Okinawa and the Essex Expeditionary Strike Group from Sasebo arrived in Luzon and Palawan to conduct joint drills with 1,300 Filipino soldiers until October 31.

same mountain range na sad bai... the americans have their satellites pointed at that mountain range and valley... they have observed movement and building in 2 additional areas near the first test site... they think that there will be another test there, as the first one wasnt very successful, as they say it was only a partial detonation...

In nuclear physics jargon, it's a fizzle. They detonate with the explosive power of 0.55 kilotons of TNT, according to the seismic data from USGS.

Reference from Above Top Secret Website: By Shining Wizard

Jong Ill or whatever you may call him is a self-inflated idiot much in the mold of Fidel Castro, once North Koreans began losing more men then they could replace, and run out of Oil, (logistics ladies and gentlemen), and starving I think they would turn on him in a second.

Let's look at a tale of the tape in my opinion:

    N. Korea : Undertrained Pilots
Modern Migs but not kept up mechanically
No $$$ to finance war effort for longer then a few weeks
Not enough working equipment to keep solders armed.
1974 style ICBM's that couldn't hit Russia, much less a US naval Fleet.
    Oil supplies vastly overrated,
    Coastal Defense Navy only
    Same Tanks Iraq had
    Starving People
Idiot Dictator which people will abandon once war effort turns against them.
No spy satellites, can't see US troops
Can't rely on Allies to help them out, they are on thier own.

    US:
Top notch military, best training in the world
You have seen about 5% of American military might in the last 2 years.
Secret Weapons (EMP, MOAB, RAPTOR, , Laser Weapons)
Money to finance long term war effort'
Aid of South Korea, Japan, Austrailia, Spain, and Britain
    Dominant Naval Power
    Dominant Air Power
    Dominant Land Power
    Dominant Space Power
    Dominant Technology
Logistics (Food, Clothes, Oil, Gas, Windex, you name it they got it and they can get it quick)

    My take

War if ugly for about a week, then trouble hits the North Koreans in terms of a three Front War, US, Britain, SK and Japan all work together to apply pressure to North Korea. They establish air superiority in a week, beachheads in 2, Korean's begin to understand the problem, they are fighting with no oil or food, while our boys are frying t-bone's on thier ol t-72's, quit the war and go home, leaving middle Korea virtually defenseless.

This one won't last much more than Iraq, and you will see the true might of the United States in action...

If war breaks out, Nokor will hit Japan then Sokor ... my bet.

Plus it Sokor will be engaged in ground war, while Japan will provide air power. The US will only be in supporting role.

    just my hunch ...
