Arroyo presses Air Force on attack choppers (possible Cobra attack helicopters)

I believe our PAF made a wise choice. It's airframe is pretty much young since this aircraft was first introduced to the public around 1985 and it's specs. is pretty much impressive for our applications. Now if you wanna go for the US made choppers there's nothing much we could get for a same price/capability. US Blackhawk it's not even a hard pounding gunship it's basically a transport platform same as goes to it's little brother w/c is the PaveHawk now the COBRA is a pure attack helicopter or Gunship and now for the huey(whatever the variant) is an old airframe so we might as well let go on this and don't forget a Huey is basically a transport chopper not a arm to the teeth gunship.

Mahal ra tingali kung US helicopter. If we had gone for the Blackhawk, for instance, we may have been able to buy one or two instead of eight. Sexy lagi ang Blackhawk but we are hankering for caviar on a bagoong budget.

The Philippine Air Force screwed up buying helicopters during the Marcos era. They bought a number of executive helicopters, Sikorsky S-76s, and turned them into combat helicopters. Then they bought two combat helicopters, Sikorsky S-70 Blackhawks, and turned them into VIP helicopters with plush seating. Go figure.

ug makapalit lang tag upat ani ok naman tingai. importante lang na gamit ani pang hadlok sa mga insik na bully kaayo mangdala sa spratly's ug kanang pang hadlok sa mga rebelde ug kaning pang pukan sa mga galamay ni bin laden diri na naa sa mindanao ug panghadlok sa mga ampatuan aron mauli na ang nakabkab na kwarta. hehehehe
