i seems the canon looks better in this sharpness test
- i think this is the older nikon 24-70, the recent nano version could be much better
- the canon 24-70 is an older design
- the nikon is more expensive than the canon

anyway, both are great lenses

yes more expensive ang Nikon coz its a newer design...I am sure if mugawas na ang new design sa Canon it would be on par or more expensive than the Nikon counterpart hehe judging lang daan sa trend sa ilang mga new lenses

i only have the 24-105 as my walk around,17-40 as my wide and 70-200 f4 IS as my zoom.i considered buying the f4 IS for its weight.

Kung mag D700 ka boss, akoy palit ana imong 17-40 half the price ha...

There is NO Old nikon 24-70, the previous model of mid zoom f2.8 is 28-70 f2.8. Thats the latest 24-70 f2.8 f2.8 with NANO in the test

haha mao... kung ako nuon sa OP naa naman siya mga L lenses stick with Canon ang difference sa performance dili majustify ang gasto

and yes wala older 24-70mm... IMHO center performance at 2.8 mas ok ang sa Nikon pero daghan lagi kaayog CA ang mid frame and corner ba overall mas nindut ang sa canon
