i heard this is much sharper than 50mm AF-D, it should be. The AF-D has too much color fringing at 1.8 at daylight and it is obvious. (cause i like to shoot shallow)

Caution with APS-C bodies (D7000 and below), 50mm range (75mm), it's to tight for general photography. get the 35mm 1.8 AF-S instead for general low-light and full body portraiture.
unless it's your type of range, it's too tight for general photography and it's to "bitin" close-up portrait

if you want a portrait lens, get the 85mm 1.8 instead (127mm)
