yes, sa DOF, focal range, dynamic range ug sa ISO performance...huwat lang sa ta nila.

ang advantage sa FF for me..is cleaner High ISO shots, thinner dof and usually daku sad ug viewfinder hehe

but if ok naka sa crop then there's no need to upgrade to FF.. niupgrade ko kay ganahan man ko mugamit ug 12mm on FF pero karon nga naa nay Sigma 8-16mm para crop... no need na to upgrade to FF if kana ang reason.

Distortion on Wide angle lenses is well control compare to crop sensor which they are more distorted to compensate the smaller sensor they bend the glass more to fit resulting to bad distortion on UWA lenses.

+1 on this, though sometimes the more exaggerated distortion of an uwa on a crop body is more fun.

This is not a really the best comparison since the bodies used here used different lenses and it wasn't under controlled lighting conditions. But here's an actual example of the same picture taken with a canon crop body and a canon FF body using uwa lenses (Both images shot at 1/160 f8 and iso400)

crop (canon 40D with efs10-22, 10mm)


FF (canon 5D with 17-40L, at 17mm)

I noticed that the colors produced by the 40D crop sensor coupled with the efs 10-22 are really not as vibrant compared to the colors produced by the 5D sensor with the 17-40L.
