guys..currently im using linksys na router and ako ilisan og dlink coz cge lang og ka disconnect... maybe its pldt's fault or sa router na fault.

problema, how do i access the dlink na settings. when i plug it and type that 198.something something

    additional info:
before the linksys worked, naa toy mga changes sa setting... like i think ang i.p address gi change coz conflict sa modem.

how do i reset the settings man sa ip config bana sa dos prompt area?

Usually, linksys ip is 192.168.1.1, dlink 192.168.0.1
Make sure your pc is set to an ip address within the ip range of the dlink router.
To be sure, open the control panel, doubleclick the Network Connections, doubleclick your connection, click properties.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the listbox and click properties.
Select "Use the following IP address".
    Enter the following settings:
    IP Address: 192.168.1.2
    Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Below, Preffered DNS 192.168.1.1, Alternate leave blank

Click ok until the window close. This may take a moment.
After this, enter in your browser http://192.168.1.1 and you should see the settings of the router.

Bossing...Di ba mo IP address conflict na sa imo nga gi hatag na ip address (192.168.1.1)

I think PC ip address should be 192.168.1.2 - 254

    Don't you think?
