Kobe is still richer and more popular/likeable than Lebron who is hated by everyone in America except in South Beach. and this with Kobe already close to retirement.

if James was such a team player, why did the Heat struggled to play together early in the season? iirc, when Gasol was traded mid-season to the Lakers, him and Kobe jelled instantly.

lets make it clear.. lebron is already a great player. winning 2 MVP's is something, leading the Cavs to the NBA's best record with a mediocre cast is also amazing.

Truly Great Players Wins Titles. Kobe has 5, Lebron has 0. is he great? he is not, he is just good. is he Elite? certainly not. Until Lebron proves that he is a winner that's the time LBJ Fans pleads his case. This is the third consecutive year he's lost a playoff series in which he had home-court advantage. The greats don't do that.

Accomplishments says it all. Kobe won 3 titles as Shaq's sidekick, LeBron failed to win with Wade. Kobe won 2 titles as the leader of the Lakers, LeBron failed as the leader of Cleveland. LeBron still has a lot of chance to prove his worth but as far as this comparison is concerned, being a sidekick to Wade will never make him way better than Kobe. Miami is Wade's team. LeBron is just the queen in South Beach. Bosh is a princess.
