Care to share how you rooted your HTC Desire HD? I've been searching the net and most of have different procedures and is really confusing me. hehe

What does rooting do to our mobile devices?

brad, check sa Cyberzone, kalimot ko asa jud na shop to basta dd2 ko palit sa ako HD2 na capdase nya naa sad sila display HTC devices, mura ang desire 1 pato dli pa ang HD but basin naa na sila stock karn

wala pa koy android pero ngutana ta ko kung pede ni.

ext4 formatted portable hdd -> powered usb hub -> android phone/tablet

With rooting, you could install custom ROMs and with custom ROMs, you could get Cyanogen Mod (Gingerbread) for your Wildfire.

mga peepz naa lang ko ask, since wa jud ko idea about android coz ive been a nokia (symbian) user ever since, now that im looking forward with a new fone na android OS (samsung galaxy ace)...think its running 2.2 (based on my research) then pwde update to 2.3...asa man pwede ipa update mga bro? pila byad? whats in 2.3 na wla sa 2.2? seems everybody is talking bout updates mao na curious lang ko...hope i can find answers

rooting gives you a "super user" access to you phone. this means you would be able to access/modify files that the manufacturer initially doesn't allow you to.

it depends bro... usually sa samsung available na sa samsung kies ang update kung mka huwat lang ka... ang akong galaxy tab P1010 kay ng wait rako sa release sa samsung then oks ra.. pero kung di ka kahuwat you can do the updates man..

and usually sa updates ana kay performance wise..
