probably the reason behind why there's no history section (for almost 10 yrs) in istorya is because there's nothing to talk about history rather just copy and paste.... (unless you're one of the veterans of those events or you knew one that told you a story.)

if a person wants to know more about history, he can do so himself through search engines..

poster1: thread: History of world war 2... (copy & paste).

Poster 2: Yeah I know that, here's what I found (copy & paste).

poster 3: ooh yeah you missed this part (copy & paste).

poster 4: you all missed these parts... (a bunch of copy & pastes).

True, not everyone knows about history. But many will try to pretend they know everything.

If copy & pasting showdown is a discussion for you, then suit yourself...

copy pasting isn't so bad if the purpose is to start a discussion.... but if the replies are mostly or all copy & pastes? That's something else...

IMO, here are the possible reasons why History section is not possible:

- only few threads discussed about history, not suited to purposely categorize such topics
- unlike science where there are new topics to discuss, new discoveries, technologies, etc. For history, nada. History is history. In some instances, science also tackles history. Also, few of us here deeply knew about history or are specifically hiSTORYANs themselves.
