Provincial Hospital nears completion

CEBU Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia admitted they have encountered challenges in building the Carcar Provincial Hospital, but the kinks and delays were expected because it was the first time the Province established a provincial hospital.

Garcia inspected yesterday the 100-bed facility, which remained unused almost two years after it was inaugurated.

She said the hospital is “85 percent ready” and that in a month’s time, all the equipment and facilities will be in place, including the fire alarm system and sprinklers required by the Fire Code.

The inspection of the Department of Health (DOH) will soon follow.

this is the kind of government spending our country needs to stop the brain drain from this country. If our public hospitals are the same with chung hua, I personally don't think there's any reason at all for anybody to migrate.

Bahala pobri ta, lingaw man ayo ta sa atong mga pamila, mga barkada, etc. Kung masakit, aw libri bitaw ang "chung hua-alike" nga gov't hospitals!

mahitabo kaha ni? for sure it's not a question of funding - i'm sure our government can afford it if it's given priority.
