but the houston rockets were surrounded by excellent role players like the pistons of 2004..

houston have, Elie, Smith, Maxwell, Horry, the rookie Sam Cassell, and Otis Thorpe....... those were excellent role players. esp Sam Cassell who later became one of the leagues top point guards later in his career ...
