HALL 6 - ASUS, AZTECH, BELL, BELKIN, BLACKBERRY
ASUS
The first booth we saw upon entering Hall 603 was none other than ASUS's. Clearly, the company is gearing to impress bargain hunters at this year's PC Show with its huge variety of notebooks and netbooks for the mobile worker.
Star buys from ASUS's booth this year include the 12-inch X23FT notebook, which boasts more than eight hours of battery life on a single charge and comes bundled with a low-voltage Intel Core i3-380UM processor and 2GB of DDR3 memory.
For those who prefer a more trendy-looking machine, look no further than ASUS's K series notebooks. Of particular note are the K43SJ29i5 and the K43Sv29i7 (below), which feature Intel's Core i5 and i7 processors and NVIDIA's GeForce GT520M and GT540 GPUs respectively.
If it is netbooks you are looking for, ASUS's Eee PC Seashell 1011PX is going for S$349 and utilizes an Atom N455 processor clocked at 1.66GHz, as well as 1GB of DDR3 memory. Now this is one seashell you will not regret picking up on the seashores of Suntec at this year's PC Show.
ASUS has also updated their U-series with Sandy Bridge processors. The U31SD (below) is equipped with a Core i5-2410M processor, GeForce GT 520 and goes for S$1198.
Aztech
Aztech is also taking part in this year's PC Show, where it is showcasing its wide range of network connectivity tools such as routers, wireless adapters and homeplugs.
The star deal, however, comes in the form of Aztech's 200mbps HomePlug AV 2-port Wireless-N Extender, which is currently selling at the discounted price of S$109 per unit.
