Sa ako lang, on average kung powerfed ang scorpion (forest), it will molt within 2 weeks, sometimes months. I recall my H.longi molted from 3i to 4i say, 3 months while k2 2i pa siya, it molted for 1 week and 3 days after acquisition.

    note:

record your scorpion molting periods to get average/track record of its span of growth.
that is, if your serious to scorpion keeping.

For now, I have H.Laoticus and H.Spinifer with me. I failed to get my H.longi from 5i -6i due to molting problems (nasangit sa hide niya nga huot)

thanks kaau sa info bro.... bag o lng gud ko nag buhi nya excited sad ko mka kita nga mo molt.... hehehe

share lang ko sa akong experience mga sirs, most scorpions species are communal to some extent but the RISK of casualties will always be there because of the scorpions opportunistic nature.
bsag naa pa specimens that are tagged as communal dili jud 100% percent na they will not kill each other there will always be a risk of cannibalism.

based on my experience mas risky mag communal ug slings that will still molt mas taas ang chance ug cannibalism while adults mas dako ug chance na ma communal but again this will vary from species to species.

naa pud situations na case to case basis the same species kai success na communal with person A but person B kai mag pintatyanay gyud.
and importante nato hinumduman what works for one person may not work for another. lahi2x gyud.

conclusion nako ane: if you are willing to risk and have the budget or resources to acquire another specimen kung ma disgrasya then you can try communal set ups. but kung apeke sa budget then better off putting them on different enclosures. some scorpion breeders here will have the luxury to risk communal setups tungod kai daghan man extra specimens.

regarding growth sa scorpions depende sa klase, naa fast growers and naa pud slow growers.

the genus heterometrus and genus pandinus belongs to the slow grower species since they are also the big scorpions. just take note na kung magka taas ang instar magka dugay ang molting. the average growth of heterometrus and pandinus based on experience is around 1 year plus gyud from 2i to 7i.
Sa hobby nato na inverts we need to be patient kai daghan kai factors maka affect sa growth ato specimens. feeding, temperature, time of year, instar ug uban pa.

patience lang gyud ta! if wala kai patience to wait kai murag dili ka magdugay ane na hobby.
