Tips for pre-nup shoot

Invited to shoot in a pre-nup photoshoot (first time)...

Would anyone care to share tips like:
> prenup themes, settings, location
> basic poses for couples
> costumes, dresses
> etc...

1st of all i would not even call it pre-nuptial, i rather call it engagement photoshoot

tips:
-ee meeting ang photoshoot theme with the client, e.i. maria clara/kinaraan, beach scene, formal etc..
-poses: direct them clearly like or you can tell them to do this certain pose or a certain scene sa romantic movie that they are familiar
-costumes is part sa pre-prod, much better if they can commit to provide the costume or else disaster ang shoot if mag tshirt lang ang laki nya na pagyud shell or tide na logo sa front hahaa

if waka idea kini nakoi ee share:
"the tourist couple"
ipa tshirt sila og i ♥ cebu, brown shorts, straw hats, messenger bag & props analog camera (much better if slr film)
nya pa pose sa fort san pedro, Magellans cross, Fuente Osmena and Larsians/ any bar-b-q with puso rice
so far its easy to pull it off for a start and effective e-session theme

Additional:

-kung dili nimu suod ang client, build rapport before and during the shoot. crack jokes, make silly comments na within their sense of humor etc.
- give longer breaks. Don't forget to shoot them during this break. you'll get the sweetest moments when you leave them alone.
- Scout your location well. Create a storyboard. It will save you time kung kabalo naka asa nimu sila ipapwesto rather than mangita pamo inig abot ninyu didto.
- If the couple only alotted a day for this shoot, always have a backup plan incase mu-uwan labi na kung outdoor shoot. (Puede sad nimu sila bas-on arun palahi hihihi)

Would you happen to know a few basic poses or checklist of shots (para naay sure nga pics nga magamit) like holding hands nga shot, or silhouette shot nga padung mu-kiss ang couple...?
... before ko mag shoot ug conceptual or experimental pose/shots..

My only suggestion is to make the couple enjoy it as much as you are enjoying it. Once everyone is comfortable, the rest should follow.
