    ..
suggestion lang bro para ma secure imo wifi, i've been using Tenda Wifi Router also.
    1. Change admin password - use alphanumeric password including special characters - small letter big letter special character numbers sa imo password
    2. SSID - hide it
    3. disable DHCP - i manual nimo config imo laptop para maka connect
    4. change the IP address of the router - default is 192.168.1.1 bah? i change lang lain
    5. mac address filter

you cant really accuse your neighbor that easily not unless naa gyud ka heavy na proof og evidence na iya gyud gi hack.

anyway dont use WEP. bisan 128bit pa na na encryption basta wep gani yabo gyud na. backtrack ray katapat ana. then do not broadcast your SSID then mac filter. thats why its very important na mag check gyud ka sa status sa imo router if kinsay ang connect.

tho naa gyud makalusot usahay na dili mo appear sa status sa mga client na online kay usahay ang ipag guwas dira kato ra man ang obtain ip via dhcp ang katong ang butang static dili usahay i list. so ang himoon nimo to check if naa gyud intruder sa inyo network is to use a LAN scanner. katong by radmin ayos ayo na i search lang sa net kay if imo i scan ang entire network makita nimo unsa na ip ang active og used.

if indeed your neighbor is the culprit , i'd say then that he is not a real hacker. Hacker kunohay or Script kiddie rato cya - one who uses and relies on the free tools available on the net. Real hackers don't brag about where they've worked or that they work at some big i.t. company and stuff. Real hackers don't destroy computer systems. Real hackers write their own programs. The term Cracker is employed when an attacker harms, destroys computer systems. The fact is there are more Script kiddies scattered around than there are real hackers. On to your neighbor, if he's using tools, you could also then use software tools that would secure your little wifi network and most of it too can be found on the net.

Bro, the computers are OFF, mag blink gihapon ang router nga paspas. Even on reboot sa Router, mao gihapon mahitabo. After reset sa router, wala na nag BLINK. After atong reset, guba na ang laptop.

Before nako gi-reformat ang iya harddrive, naa ang name sa ilang silingan sa C:\USERS. Which is clearly, gi-ilisan niya ang contents sa laptop..

Dili pud hanas akong friend and I don't have that much time to visit my friend.. mao dili pud nako maka-use sa imu suggestion bro. All I should do is to create a preventive measures sa ilang network aron di kasulod ang ilang wa'y buot nga silingan..

we dont know bro. basin naa pa diay kay laing silingan.

basin gigamit lang diay ang name sa imong suspect kay murag qualified man.

    1. Papalita nalang sya og NEW HDD barato nalang kaayo na ron Para ma preserve ang evidence HDD (ayaw nalang hilabti).

    2. Use Linux (example ubuntu live cd) para ma open nimo ang drive nya ma back up-an

    3. Gamit og fresh applications (Sometimes we(technician) dont know atong installers mismo infected na sa virus nga naa sa client's PC)

    4. As in fresh install jud tanan and pahimutang jud.

    5. Watch out for social engineering (basin ang bata maoy sugoon pag reset sa button hehe!)
